This calorie counter tool will help you track your daily calorie intake easily.
How to Use:
Enter your age, gender, height in centimeters, weight in kilograms, and select your level of physical activity. Then click the “Calculate” button to see your results.
How it Calculates:
This calorie counter uses the Mifflin-St Jeor Equation to calculate Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR). It then multiplies BMR by the Activity Factor to estimate your daily calorie needs:
- BMR for men: (10 x weight (kg)) + (6.25 x height (cm)) – (5 x age (years)) + 5
- BMR for women: (10 x weight (kg)) + (6.25 x height (cm)) – (5 x age (years)) – 161
The Daily Calorie Needs are calculated by multiplying BMR by the activity factor.
Limitations:
This calculator provides an estimate based on the provided information and may not be accurate for everyone. It does not account for muscle mass, body composition, or specific health conditions. Consult a healthcare provider for more personalized advice.
