How to Use the CY Estimator
Enter your current weight, body fat percentage, target weight loss, activity level, age, gender, and height to estimate the time required to reach your weight loss goal.
The CY Estimator uses the Harris-Benedict equation to calculate your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) based on your gender, age, weight, and height. Then, it multiplies your BMR by a factor corresponding to your activity level to estimate your Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE). Assuming a caloric deficit of 500 calories per day, the estimator divides the total calories needed to lose the target weight by the daily caloric deficit to provide an estimate of the time required to reach your goal.
