How It Calculates
The calculator combines the input values using a weighted formula to estimate the evaporation rate:
- Temperature Factor: 0.45 × Temperature
- Humidity Factor: 0.54 × (100 – Humidity)
- Wind Speed Factor: 0.26 × Wind Speed
- Solar Radiation Factor: 0.19 × (Solar Radiation / 80)
- Air Pressure Factor: 0.31 × (1013 – Air Pressure) / 10
These factors are summed to provide an evaporation rate in mm/day.
