This tool helps you estimate the Mean Quadratic Deviation (MQD) for your dataset.
How to Use the Delta MQD Estimator Calculator
This calculator estimates the Medallion Qualification Dollars (MQDs) based on your flight information. Follow the steps below to use it:
- Enter the total miles you have flown in the Flown Miles field.
- Enter the fare class multiplier for your flight in the Fare Class Multiplier field. Refer to your fare class details for the applicable multiplier.
- Optionally, enter any additional cabin bonuses you might have in the Cabin Bonus field. Leave it blank if there are none.
- If you have elite status, enter the applicable elite status bonus in the Elite Status Bonus field. Leave it blank if you have no elite status.
- Click the Calculate button to see your estimated MQDs in the result field.
How It Calculates the Results
The calculator multiplies your flown miles by the fare class multiplier. If you have any cabin bonuses or elite status bonuses, these are also multiplied to provide the final MQD estimate. The formula used is:
Flown Miles x Fare Class Multiplier x Cabin Bonus x Elite Status Bonus
Limitations of the Calculator
This calculator provides an estimate and should be used for informational purposes only. Actual MQDs may vary based on a multitude of factors including, but not limited to, airline-specific policies, promotions, and special cases not covered by this calculator.
