Pn Calorie Calculator – Find Daily Caloric Needs

This calorie calculator tool helps you determine the number of calories you need daily to meet your nutritional goals.

How to use the Calorie Calculator:

  • Fill in your age.
  • Select your gender.
  • Enter your weight in kilograms.
  • Enter your height in centimeters.
  • Select your activity level from the dropdown menu.
  • Click the “Calculate” button to see your daily calorie needs.

How it calculates the results:

This calculator uses the Mifflin-St Jeor Equation to estimate your daily calorie needs:

  • For men: BMR = (10 * weight) + (6.25 * height) – (5 * age) + 5
  • For women: BMR = (10 * weight) + (6.25 * height) – (5 * age) – 161

Your BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) is then multiplied by your activity level to estimate your daily calorie needs:

  • Sedentary: BMR x 1.2
  • Light: BMR x 1.375
  • Moderate: BMR x 1.55
  • Active: BMR x 1.725
  • Extra Active: BMR x 1.9

Limitations:

Please note that this calculator provides an estimate of your daily calorie needs based on standard formulas. Actual calorie needs can vary based on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to: metabolic health, hormonal levels, and other individual differences. It’s advisable to use this as a guideline and consult a healthcare provider for personalized nutritional advice.
