TMW Calorie Calculator – Accurate Daily Calorie Needs

This tool will help you easily calculate your daily calorie needs based on your personal information.

How it Works:
This Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE) calculator estimates the number of calories you need per day to maintain your current weight. It uses the Harris-Benedict Equation, which is widely utilized in the field of nutrition and health.

How to Use:
1. Enter your age.
2. Select your gender.
3. Enter your weight in kilograms.
4. Enter your height in centimeters.
5. Select your activity level from the drop-down menu.
6. Click “Calculate” to see your estimated daily calorie needs.

Calculation Details:
The Harris-Benedict Equation calculates Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) first and then multiplies it by a factor based on your activity level to provide TDEE:
For men: BMR = 88.362 + (13.397 x weight in kg) + (4.799 x height in cm) – (5.677 x age in years)
For women: BMR = 447.593 + (9.247 x weight in kg) + (3.098 x height in cm) – (4.330 x age in years)
TDEE = BMR x Activity Level

Limitations:
This calculator offers an estimate and may not be accurate for everyone. Individual factors such as muscle mass, body composition, and overall health can significantly influence calorie needs. Always consult a healthcare professional for personalized advice.
