How to Use the Calorie Carb Counter

How It Works:

The calculation is based on the Mifflin-St Jeor equation to estimate Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR), which is the number of calories your body needs at rest. This BMR is then multiplied by an activity factor to estimate Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE). Depending on your goal, the TDEE is adjusted to create a calorie deficit or surplus.

Your daily carbohydrates are calculated to provide 50% of your total daily energy intake as carbs, each gram of carbohydrate provides 4 calories.

Limitations:

This calculator provides an estimate and should be used for informational purposes only. Individual calorie needs can vary based on various factors not accounted for in this calculator. Always seek professional guidance for personalized dietary advice.
