This tool helps you calculate the percentage of calories you consume from fat in your diet.
How to Use the Calorie and Fat Percentage Calculator
To use this calculator, you need to input your age, gender, weight, height, and activity level. Optionally, you can also input your body fat percentage if you know it.
Calculation Method
This calculator uses two different formulas to calculate your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR):
- Katch-McArdle formula if body fat percentage is known.
- Harris-Benedict formula otherwise.
After calculating the BMR, the Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE) is calculated by multiplying the BMR by an activity level multiplier.
Limitations
Please note that these calculations are estimates and may not be accurate for all individuals. Factors such as muscle mass, medical conditions, and other variables can affect energy expenditure.
