Our calorie calculator tool helps you determine your daily caloric needs based on your personal details and activity level.
Calorie Calculator
This calculator helps you estimate the number of calories you need each day to maintain your current weight based on your age, gender, weight, height, and activity level.
How to Use
- Enter your age.
- Select your gender.
- Enter your weight in kilograms.
- Enter your height in centimeters.
- Select your activity level from the dropdown menu.
- Click “Calculate” to see your results.
How it Calculates
The calculator uses the Harris-Benedict Equation to calculate the Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR), which is an estimate of the number of calories you would burn if you were at rest all day. It then multiplies the BMR by an activity factor based on your selected activity level to give the Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE), which is an estimate of how many calories you need each day to maintain your current weight.
Limitations
Please note that this calculator provides an estimate, and individual calorie needs may vary based on factors not considered in this calculation, such as lean body mass and overall health. For personalized advice, consult a healthcare or nutrition professional.
