Our calorie calculator and weight loss tool will help you understand your daily calorie needs and track your progress towards your weight loss goals.
How to use the Calorie Calculator
To use this calculator, input your age, gender, current weight and height in the specified fields. Select your activity level and your weight goal from the dropdown menus. Click the “Calculate” button to see your results.
How It Calculates the Results
Our calorie calculator uses the Mifflin-St Jeor Equation to estimate your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) – the number of calories you need to maintain your current weight. Your BMR is then adjusted based on your selected activity level to estimate your Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE). Finally, your TDEE is further adjusted according to your selected weight goal to give you your daily calorie target.
Limitations
This calculator provides an estimate based on average values and general assumptions. Individual caloric needs may vary. It is always recommended to consult with a healthcare provider or a nutritionist for personalized advice.
