This tool calculates the calories you burn based on your heart rate during exercise.
Calorie Calculator Heart Rate
This calorie calculator helps you estimate the number of calories you need per day based on your age, weight, height, gender, and activity level.
How to Use the Calorie Calculator:
- Enter your age in years.
- Enter your weight in kilograms.
- Enter your height in centimeters.
- Select your gender (male or female).
- Select your activity level from the dropdown menu.
- Click the Calculate button to see your estimated daily calorie needs.
How It Calculates:
The calculator uses the Mifflin-St Jeor Equation for Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) and multiplies the BMR by an activity factor to estimate daily calorie needs:
- For men: BMR = 10 x weight (kg) + 6.25 x height (cm) – 5 x age (years) + 5
- For women: BMR = 10 x weight (kg) + 6.25 x height (cm) – 5 x age (years) – 161
The result is then multiplied by the activity factor which ranges from 1.2 (sedentary) to 1.9 (super active).
Limitations:
Please note that this calculator provides an estimate and may not be accurate for everyone, particularly for athletes or individuals with certain medical conditions. Consult a healthcare provider for personalized advice.
