How the Calculator Works:

The calorie calculator uses the Mifflin-St Jeor Equation to estimate your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) and then multiplies it by an activity factor to account for your activity level. It also adds additional calories based on the breastfeeding stage.

    BMR = (10 * weight in kg) + (6.25 * height in cm) - (5 * age in years) + 5
