This calculator uses predefined calorie values per 100 grams for each ingredient. The known calorie values include:

  • Apple: 52 kcal per 100 grams
  • Banana: 89 kcal per 100 grams
  • Chicken Breast: 165 kcal per 100 grams
  • Rice: 130 kcal per 100 grams
  • Bread: 265 kcal per 100 grams

How it Calculates the Results

The calculator uses a predefined list of calorie values for common ingredients. When you input an ingredient and its quantity, the calculator will determine the total calorie count based on the ratio of calories per 100 grams. It multiplies the ingredient’s calories per gram by the quantity to provide the total calorie count.

Limitations

This calculator currently supports only a limited number of ingredients. For accurate results, please use one of the predefined ingredients. Additionally, if the ingredient is not found or the quantity is entered incorrectly, the calculator will show “Invalid input”.
