Epoxy Estimator – Accurate Cost Calculator

This tool will help you accurately estimate the amount of epoxy resin needed for your project.

How to Use the Epoxy Estimator

To use this epoxy estimator, fill in all the required fields.

  • Length: Enter the length of the area in feet.
  • Width: Enter the width of the area in feet.
  • Depth: Enter the depth of the epoxy pour in inches.
  • Coverage per gallon: Enter the coverage area for one gallon of epoxy in square feet (default is 12 sq ft/gallon).
  • Wastage percentage: Enter the estimated wastage percentage. The default value is 10%.

Once all the values are entered, click on the ‘Calculate’ button to get the result in gallons.

How It Calculates the Results

The estimator calculates the total cubic feet of the area by multiplying the length, width, and depth (converted into feet). Then, it divides the total cubic feet by the coverage per gallon to get the total gallons needed without considering wastage.

To account for wastage, it multiplies the total gallons by (1 + wastage percentage). The final result is displayed in gallons.

Limitations

Please note that this calculator provides an estimate and actual requirements may vary based on the specific conditions of your project. Always consult professional guidelines or seek professional assistance for accurate measurements and amounts required.
