GCP Estimator – Accurate Cloud Cost Calculation

This tool will help you estimate your Google Cloud Platform costs accurately.

GCP Cost Estimator

Use this calculator to estimate the monthly cost of your Google Cloud Platform usage.

How to Use:

  1. Enter the number of instances you plan to run.
  2. Select the instance type from the dropdown menu.
  3. Specify the number of hours you expect the instances to run per month.
  4. Choose your preferred region.
  5. Select the operating system you plan to use.
  6. Click on “Calculate” to see the estimated cost.

How it Calculates:

The calculator uses predefined pricing for each instance type and region. It also adjusts the cost based on the operating system you select (Linux or Windows). The total cost is calculated using the formula:

Total Cost = Number of Instances * Cost per Hour * Hours per Month

The cost per hour varies by instance type and region, and an additional multiplier is applied if Windows is selected as the operating system.

Limitations:

This estimator provides a rough estimate based on current pricing and does not account for additional factors such as sustained use discounts, committed use contracts, network egress costs, or other potential variables. For a more comprehensive estimate, please refer to the official Google Cloud Pricing Calculator.

Use Cases for This Calculator
