It then calculates the proportion of cases (p) by dividing the number of cases (C) by the total population (N). Using these values, it computes the standard error with finite population correction:

Limitations

This calculator assumes the sample is randomly selected and that the number of cases is not too small relative to the population size. The accuracy of the z-values may slightly differ based on the rounding of the confidence level.
