JRF Calorie Calculator – Accurate Fitness Tracking

This tool calculates the number of calories you need each day to reach your fitness goals based on your activity level and personal details.

How to Use the JRF Calorie Calculator

To use this calculator, fill in all the required fields including your age, gender, weight, height, and activity level. Click the “Calculate” button to get your daily calorie needs based on the information you provided.

How It Calculates the Results

The calculator uses the Mifflin-St Jeor Equation to estimate your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR), which is the number of calories you’d burn if you were at rest all day. The formula is as follows:
– For males: BMR = (10 × weight in kg) + (6.25 × height in cm) – (5 × age in years) + 5
– For females: BMR = (10 × weight in kg) + (6.25 × height in cm) – (5 × age in years) – 161

To determine your Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE), your BMR is multiplied by an activity factor that corresponds to your level of physical activity.

Limitations

This calculator gives an estimate only. Your actual daily calorie needs may vary. Factors such as muscle mass, body composition, and underlying medical conditions can affect your calorie requirements. Consult with a healthcare provider for personalized advice.
