How It Calculates the Results
The calculator converts the dimensions of the paver from inches to feet to match the unit of the area. It then calculates the area of the paving section in square feet and the area of one paver in square feet. Finally, it divides the area of the paving section by the area of one paver to determine how many pavers are needed, rounding up to ensure you have enough pavers for the project.
Limitations
This calculator assumes that the pavers are laid without gaps and does not account for spaces between pavers or special laying patterns that could affect the number of pavers required. Make sure to buy a few more pavers than calculated to account for cuts, waste, and variations in paver size.
