Formulas Used:
- Total Room Area (sq ft) = Room Length (ft) * Room Width (ft)
- Total Plank Area (sq ft) = Plank Length (in) * Plank Width (in) / 144
- Total Planks Needed = (Total Room Area / Total Plank Area) * (1 + Wastage Percentage / 100)
Limitations
The calculator assumes a simple rectangular room and does not account for odd-shaped rooms or areas with obstacles like columns and stairs. It also assumes uniform plank sizes and does not factor in varying plank lengths or widths.
