How It Calculates
The calculator uses the following formula to determine how much salt to add:
- Convert pool volume from gallons to liters (1 gallon = 3.78541 liters).
- Calculate the amount of salt needed to reach desired levels in milligrams based on pool volume and salt levels.
- Convert the necessary amount of salt from milligrams to kilograms (1 kg = 1,000,000 mg).
Limitations
- Please ensure all input fields are filled out. The calculator will not work with incomplete data.
- This calculator assumes that the entire pool volume and salt levels are uniformly distributed, which may not always be the case in real-world scenarios.
