Sr Estimator – Accurate Cost Calculator

This tool helps you accurately estimate your SR based on a variety of input factors.

How to Use the SR Estimator

Fill in your age, height in centimeters, weight in kilograms, and select your sex. Then, choose your activity level from the dropdown menu. Click the “Calculate” button to see an estimate of your suggested daily caloric intake based on your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) and activity level.

How It Calculates the Results

The SR Estimator uses the Harris-Benedict equation to calculate BMR, which represents the number of calories you’d burn if you stayed in bed all day. The formula is as follows:

For men: BMR = 10 * weight (kg) + 6.25 * height (cm) – 5 * age (years) + 5

For women: BMR = 10 * weight (kg) + 6.25 * height (cm) – 5 * age (years) – 161

Then, it multiplies your BMR by an activity factor to estimate your daily caloric needs:

  • Sedentary (little or no exercise): BMR * 1.2
  • Lightly active (light exercise/sports 1-3 days/week): BMR * 1.375
  • Moderately active (moderate exercise/sports 3-5 days/week): BMR * 1.55
  • Very active (hard exercise/sports 6-7 days/week): BMR * 1.725
  • Extra active (very hard exercise/sports & physical job): BMR * 1.9

Limitations

Keep in mind that this calculator provides an estimation and may not account for specific factors like medical conditions, extreme muscle mass, or other individual variations. For personalized advice, consult with a healthcare professional or a registered dietitian.
